Elwyn “Beanie” Beane

LANCASTER - Elwyn “Beanie” Beane, age 91, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 24, 2023. He was born on March 20, 1932, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He is the oldest of three children, to Raymond and Helen (Vassar) Beane. A Celebration of “Beanie’s”Life will be held on Saturday, August 12,, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Nutbush Bar and Restaurant, 1033 2nd Ave S, Onalaska, WI. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in “Beanies" name to: The Wisconsin Lions Foundation, 3834 County Rd. A Rosholt, WI 54473. Private family burial will be at the LeGrand Friends Cemetery, LeGrand, Iowa at a later date. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory of Lancaster is assisting the family.
