Netflix's One Piece Shares Synopsis and Title for Each Episode
One Piece live-action adaptation is coming to Netflix on August 31.
The most famous group of pirates from the world of anime is coming to Netflix really soon. One Piece, one of the most popular Japanese animated series of all time its getting its live-action treatment thanks to the streaming platform, becoming the latest attempt from the company to bring anime to their screen after failing with projects like Death Note and Cowboy Bebop.
Anticipating the release of the first season of the show, Netflix has shared the official titles and synopsis for each episode (via ComicBook):

Based on the acclaimed manga written and drawn by Eiichirō Oda, the story follows Monkey D. Luffy, leader of the Straw Hat Pirates, who acquires the ability of stretching his body like rubber after eating the devil fruit. Along with his crew, he navigates dangerous waters and travels to fantastic lands in order to get his hands into a legendary treasure known as One Piece, so he can become the next King of the Pirates.
Netflix's One Piece stars Inali Gody as Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Emily Rudd as Nami, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Vincent Regan as Monkey D. Garp, Morgan Davies as Koby, and Peter Gadiot as Shanks among many others.
