Straw Hat Players’ ‘Beauty and the Beast’ starts Aug. 5

Theater fans, mark your calendars - the Oregon Straw Hat Players are wrapping up rehearsals for upcoming productions of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.”

The musical is set to run at the Oregon Performing Arts Center, 456 N. Perry Pkwy., for six shows: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5; 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6; 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10 and Friday, Aug. 11; and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12.

Also, people are invited to stop by Culver’s of Oregon on Sunday, July 30 from 2-4 p.m. to meet and get a picture with Belle, Gaston, and LeFou from OSHP’s production of “Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.” While there, enjoy a $2 special single scoop of vanilla custard with sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry on top!
